Conditions

Hours
  • Weekdays: 9:30-17:30 (12:30-13:30: No Counter Service)
  • Closed: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays and New Year's Holidays (December 27th to January 5th), Entrance examinations period
    *Library may also be closed for some events.
Entry Procedure
  • Members of UTokyo: Not required
  • Non-Members and Alumni: Advance reservations recommended. Please check the information for [Non-members/Alumni].
Borrowingmembers only
  • Books: Up to 5 books for 2 weeks (These can be renewed up to 4 times.)
    • Textbook for learning: 2 books for 2 weeks
    • A member of Computer Science / Information Science can borrow 4 weeks. (Except for Textbook for learning.)
  • Journals: current day
  • Present your IC University ID card or library card.
Photocopying
  • There is no copy machine in this library.
  • If you would like a copy of the material,
    • Members of the University of Tokyo can borrow materials or request photocopies and PDF files.
    • Non-members can use the Inter-Library Loan (ILL) service. Please consult with your library staff.

  • When you see "Sci.7 IST.Com.Sci.Lib." on the "Location" field in the OPAC search results screen, you can use the material at Science Bldg. 7 Library.
  • Books are sorted by own classification of Science Bldg. 7 Library. Click here for details of classification.
  • When "Sci.7 IST.Com.Sci.Lab.", the material is held in laboratory, so sometimes it is not available. For details, please ask the library counter.
Dissertations

Science Bldg. 7 Library has course-based doctoral dissertations and master thesis of Computer Science. If you would like to read them, please ask the library in advance.
